Adventure is out there Map-DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team!  Have you seen the new Stateside collection?  It is awesome! I absolutely LOVE what the team has been doing with it.  For my project I used one of the maps and altered it a little bit.

The fun maps come in a set of three, I choose this one because I just loved the way the colors popped off the page.

I hand cut the lettering and then adhered it with foam squares to make it more dimensional. I think it give it a little bit of PoP:)

I just had to incorporate some of the DIY Flowers from the Stateside stack.  I love how big and beautiful they are.  I placed a large faceted bead from Blue Moon Beads in the center.  I thought this would be a wonderful piece to place in my craft room over the couch but my daughter has already stolen it and has it hung in her room.  I guess I will just have to make another one :)

Gadget Case-TOW

Welcome ThermOWeb fans :)  this is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun free project that I found on the Robert Kaufman website that was intended to be used as a little case to hold nail polish and turned it into a gadget case to hold all of my daughters thumb drives and extra cables that she seems to be constantly looking for.
I will be giving this to her for Valentines Day so I decorated it with hearts.  Every time I pull the foil away I am amazed by how cool it is.  I just love working with the foils.

The free pattern was easy to follow and as you can see it works perfectly for thumb drives and cords.  Now I am going to have to make one for myself.

The possibilities are endless, what would you use the for?

Valentines Mini-DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team!  For my Valentine I like to create a little something more than a card so this year I came up with a little "mini heart album"  This was super easy to make once I decided on the size.  Cut 6 hearts in multiple different patterned papers.
Here is the cover out of the Vellum Foil stack and a bow from the DIY Project stack favor boxes.  I included lots of ribbons, doilies and shapes.

I used some of the red papers from the Oh What Fun stack because even thought they are "Christmas" papers they work perfectly for my Valentines project.

Here are all of the hearts side by side.

DCWV stacks used:

I hope you enjoyed my project today and that you have time to make something special for your Valentine.

I (Heart) U banner-May Arts

Welcome May Arts fans :)  This is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun Valentine banner with you.  It doesn't take very long and it will brighten someones day.

I used this beautiful burlap paper that has gold threads spun through it from DCWV.  Using burlap string I quickly cross stitched an I and a U on the burlap paper.  I cut out a heart free hand using red cardstock.

Decorate as desired.  I love these Sheer Frayed Flowers and thought these went perfect with my project.  Lately I have really been into layering different sizes of leaves, and I just LOVE the little spots of gold.

You can't go wrong with the Multi Sized Beads, I have been using these on everything lately and I have no plans on stopping I just love them so much.
Do you have any special Valentines projects that your going to make?  I would love to see them. Post a link and I will come check them out.
