Christmas Ornament-TOW

Hi, this is Jenifer here with you today to share this fun ornament that I made using the Heat N Bond Transfer Sheets.  I love how it turned out and I think I will be making a set of them to go up on my tree.

Isn't she pretty, I got this free image from Ephemeras Vintage Garden and just knew she was the destined to be an ornament.
Gather supply: HeatNBond Inkjet Transfer Sheets, Printed Image, scissors, Iron and Fabric.

Place the image face down on the fabric and Iron using a high setting and applying a little pressure.  While still hot, remove the paper backing and you will have a beautiful image on your fabric.

This is the image once the backing has been removed.  *One thing to note is that you must use an inkjet printer or your image won't transfer over successfully.  Now you are good to either decorate your image or leave it as it is.

I used some vintage lace and flowers to dress up my ornament, the possibilities are endless.

Supplies Used:

Thank you so much for taking a look at my project today and I wish you and your family the very best over this Holiday Season.

December Daily-DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team! I love December Daily's but I never seem to have enough time to complete them.  So this year I decided to keep it super simple.  I am going to keep this in my bag and I will fill out a tag for each day with thoughts or activities and pictures.  Keeping it low key just might make it work for me.

I found this beautiful Christmas book at a book sale for $.25.  It is a beautiful red and had these beautiful gold embossed holly leaves on the cover.  I wanted to do something special with these and incorporated them into a shaker box.

This book is not very thick so I had to keep everything pretty simple.  To add some texture I created some little pocket pages with some glitter and floating elements.

Each page has a number for each day in December, I cut these out from the All About Christmas stack.  This stack has so many cute designs it was hard just picking out a few fun pages and elements.

Here is a side view.  I just love looking at all the fun goodies poking out.  Keeping my fingers crossed that I can get this book done this year.
Thank you so much for looking at my project today and I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season.

Mini Winter Wreath- DCWV and Eileen Hull Hop

Good Morning DCWV fans and Eileen Hull fans.  I am so excited to share my project with you today.  I had this fun mini wreath laying around my craft room for awhile now just waiting for the perfect opportunity to get it decorated.

The new Twist tool from EH makes it easy to twist wires, threads and strings to make awesome projects.

Here is a close up you can see I used some wired strings around the wreath and also for the hanger.  I can't wait to use this tool again, it was so much fun.  I used the new Cranberry Christmas stack and some velvet flowers I had in my stash and the entire project took about 15 minutes.
Thank you so much for stopping by today,
Have a wonderful Holiday Season.

Quilt Market Projects for the ThermOWeb booth

Hi there Therm O Web fans :)  This is Jenifer here with you today to share the projects that I made for Quilt Market.   Moda was kind enough to send out this beautiful Manderlay fabric for the booth and Wonderfil Threads provided us with some beautiful threads.  I can't wait to see this booth.

My first project is this knit wrap skirt that I did in Alabama Chanin style, with raw edges and hand stitching.  I used the new Soft Stretch interfacing for the waist band and it is beautiful giving some stability but still giving the fabric some movement.  I appliqued these roses to the bottom corner and did some hands stitching with some beautiful Wonderfil thread.  I am so pleased with how the skirt turned out that I can't wait to make some more.

For my second project I made this fun little purse using some Fusible fleece and the awesome fabrics from Moda.  I made a cute flower out of some flannel using the Soft Stretch and it almost turned my flannel pieces into felt give it the stability I needed to make a flower without all of the bulk.  There will definitely be more flannel projects in my future.

For my last project I made a fun hoop showcasing the beautiful Moda fabrics and I couldn't help but add some beautiful Deco Foils to it.  This hoop came together pretty quickly and would look really cute with a couple others that coordinated with it.

Altered Book Halloween Mini-DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team!  Halloween is right around the corner and with the new Halloween Stacks I went to work creating this super cute altered book mini album.  This mini has tons of pockets and tags, ribbons, strings and charms.
The Halloween stack has beautiful copper foiling and it can be hard to get a good picture of it.  I layered the spiderweb paper with some tulle and string and a beautiful Blue Moon Bead Spider.  I love how the cover turned out.

Here are a few of the inside pages, as you can see there are tons of tags and pockets for journaling and pictures.  I love how interactive and fun this mini is, my little ones had a great time going through all of the little pockets and compartments

Blend Quilt and Pillow-TOW

Hi there this is Jenifer here with you today to share this Christmas quilt and pillow that I made using the I love Christmas fabric from Blend.  I am so excited to be getting started with my Christmas decorating early and this quilt is the perfect touch.
The quilt is a free pattern from AGF called Palisades and it is perfect to show off these beautiful fabrics.

As you can see I used one of the beautiful reindeer's from the panel fabrics, he was just too cute to not showcase.

For my pillow I used the Santa from the big panel and a section from the smaller panel from the back to tie everything in.  This pillow is large measuring 24"x 24" I didn't have a pillow form in my stash this size so of course I decided to make my own with supplies I had on hand.

Step 1: cut a piece of StitchNSew Pattern material and StitchNSew Sew in Fleece in your desired size + 1", to cover your 1/2" seam allowances.  I cut mine at 25"x 25".
Step 2: layer the fleece and pattern material on top of each other and sew, leaving a 5" opening on one side.
Step 3: Turn your pillow form right side out and stuff with stuffing.  I used 3/4 of a large bag of stuffing to fill my pillow form.  Once stuffed then sew opening.
Step 4:  Enjoy your new pillow form and enjoy making your own in any size you may need.

Fall Floral Wreath-DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team!  Have you see these new Lia Griffith/DCWV stack "Fall Paper Flowers" that DCWV have recently come out with?  They are beautiful!!  I don't even have the words to tell you how absolutely beautiful these flowers are.

I have chosen to use my flowers in making a fall wreath for my front door.  These beautiful flowers come together pretty quickly.  All you have to do is punch out the shapes and then using scissors or a tool you shape your flowers, this can be done while watching TV.

A little bit of hot glue and your flowers are ready to go.  Just imagine everything that can be done with these lovely beauties.

This stack is a definite must have and I just hope that the partnership continues and we see a winter, spring and summer stack from this match made in heaven.

3D Stars with DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team!  Have you see these new DIY stacks that DCWV has recently come out with?  They are beautiful!!  Today I have combined 2 of the new DIY Stacks to create these beautiful 3D stars that would be lovely for Christmas decorations or any Celebration.

These are the 3 stacks that I used.  The DIY stars and Flowers along with the new Modern Metallic stack.
The stars pop off the sheets and all you have to do is fold them and glue the pieces together.  The flowers are done the same way making this a quick and easy project.

Pretty as a Peacock Pencil Pouch-TOW

Hi there this is Jenifer here with you today to share this little back to school pencil pouch.  This is a simple project that can be customized to fit the personality of each individual.  Lets get started.

Therm O Web supplies used:
Other Supplies used:
Ribbon-May Arts
Oliso Iron

Step 1: Apply the Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive using a scraping tool or even a used gift card and scraping it over the stencil making sure you get into all of the little nooks and crevices.

Step 2:The adhesive will be pretty shiny, wait for it to dry clear and then you can apply the foil.  I like to use a brayer and another used credit card to really make sure I get the foil into all of the little spaces.

Step 3: Print out the desired image using the EZ print Inkjet sheets cut around the image and Iron it onto the fabric following the directions on the package.

Step 4:  Sew up the pouch.  Sew the zipper along the top and then sew the sides together.

This project comes together fairly quickly and you will be sending happy kids off to school with their very own custom made pencil pouch.
