Christmas Light-DCWV

Welcome DCWV fans! It’s Jenifer from the DCWV Social Media Design Team!  Today I would like to share this beautiful Christmas light that I made in a jar and decorated with some beautiful flowers from the Oh What fun and the Foiled Vellum stacks.
Have you see these awesome Fairy Lanterns over at the Pixie Hill?  She has a tutorial and these are amazing and I have already made several.

The red flowers are from the Oh What fun Stack and the gold foiled flowers are from the Foiled Vellum stack.  I just love the reds and golds together it makes the lid so beautiful.  All of the Ribbons are from May Arts and the beads are from Blue Moon Beads.

I didn't make my silhouette a fairy but went with Santa Checking his list.  These jars are just so much fun to make and the possibilities are just endless.

Winter Ornament-WOW

Happy Holidays Wow fans :)  this is Jenifer here with you today to share a fun ornament that I spruced up with a little bit of sparkle to add to your tree.

Earlier this year I found these tiny pine cones on the ground and collected a handful and they have been waiting for just the right project.  As you can see I added a little bit of texture paste on them and sprinkled a bit of the glacier mint and primary frozen embossing powder on them and it looks like there is a nice layer of ice and snow on them.  I love how it turned out.

I added some little white paper flowers and pearls and bells to help finish my ornament off.  Have you ever thought about sprucing up some of your ornaments?  Now I hope I have inspired you to give it a try :)

Joy Pillow-TOW

Welcome ThermOWeb fans, Jenifer here with you today to share a fun quick Holiday Decor project.  I know this time of year gets crazy busy but I always like to whip up some quick fun pieces.

ThermOWeb supplies used:
StitchNSew Extra High Loft Fleece

Iron on the Letters using the Icraft Hot Melt Adhesive, the key for success is waiting until it is completely cooled to remove the paper backing.  Once cooled peel off the paper.

Adhere the foil with an Iron and again wait until completely cooled before removing the foil.  I am foiling on Denim and so because of the texture of the fabric I get an inconsistent covering of the foil.  I am ok with this it makes it look antiqued :)  but you may want to test on your surface before you work on your final project.

Here is my finished pillow.  I love it like it is nice and simple but you could take it a step further and make a fun poinsettia flower pin to put on it as well.

For the flower I took 3 6 1/2" squares of Extra High Loft Fleece and cut free hand a 4 petaled flower and layered them on top of each other.  I then put a foil circle in the center of the flower and attached it to the pillow.

This project took about 45 minutes start to finish.
