Love Tag-WoW

Hello lovely WoW fans :)  This is Jenifer here with you today to share my favorite technique.
One of my favorite things to make lately is large tags.  The larger size gives me a little bit more room to decorate and add all of my favorite things.  Let me show you my favorite technique to give my projects a little bit of extra sparkle.
I like to take my bare kraft tag and give it a quick coat of white paint.  I then use the De-vine stamp, I use this stamp so much it is rarely off the stamp block.  Use versamark for the stamp and then add Wow Ultra shimmer embossing powder and heat set.  This will give you a wonderful subtle base.

The next step is to spray wit your favorite spray, I used fireworks from Imagine Crafts, it has this wonderful iridescence to it making it look like fairy wings.

Now with your base done you can add all of your fun elements.  Flowers, ribbons, doilies beautiful bits from the Wow Moulds.
Thank you so much for looking at my project today, make sure to stop by for the rest of the month to check out the rest of the teams favorite techniques.

Amazing-May Arts/Authentique hop

Thank you so much for stopping by for the May Arts/Authentique blog hop.  Authentique is one of my very most favorite paper companies.  I tend to use every last little scrap of paper that I get.  The Harmony collection was fantastic.  I cut 1" pieces of the 6x6 pad and sewed them down along with some perfectly coordinating May Arts ribbons, the results are just stunning.  The gold drops are from Imagine Crafts Irrissistible Texture Spray, I can't even begin to tell you how cool this Spray is, its nothing like you have ever seen.  It almost looks like finger nail polish, it is thick and glossy, I love it.

May Arts ribbons used:
413-Canvas Music notes
A485-Adhesive scallops
A478-Sequin Hearts
441-Ruched ribbon
UK-Wrinkle ribbon
490-Elastic lace

Hello Ruby Rock-It Fans!  We are excited to be partnering up with our sweet friends over at The Twinery this month and we are having a blog hop with their fabulous team!  Welcome!! You should have come from the The Twinery Blog - I hope you have time to make the full hop, there are tons of project that need to be drooled over :)

For my project I did a fun layout using the Handi Scandi Collection.  This collection is so fun and bright with fun glitter paper and accessories.  I chose to highlight some of the flowers on my page with some awesome twine.  I used some icraft circles from ThermOWeb, starting in the center and working my way out.  I just love the contrast that it gives my page.  The gingham ruffle ribbon is from May Arts.  Your next stop will be Melyssa Connolly :)  Have fun and enjoy the hop.....  Jenifer

Love Layouts with Simple Stories and ThermOWeb

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share my Simple Stories layouts with you.  I received the Legacy collection and it was absolutely stunning :)  This collection will help you with all of your "fall" needs.  I think I might even say this is one of my favorite collections ever.

For my first layout I used some icraft tape to make some pleated crepe paper and they are a perfect match.  Tuck transparencies under pictures and clusters to hide adhesives. Use foam squares to help give dimension to some of the hearts.  The gold glitter photo corners are a perfect touch for my fall layout.

Here is a close up of my center cluster.

For my second layout I used the cut off strips at the bottom of the 12x12 papers.  They are the perfect size to use for the center of my layouts.  Using the Mini Runner to adhere your strips and some super tape to stick on the ribbons and lace this layout can come together very quickly.  Foam Squares, zots and gold photo corners and you have a perfect layout.
Here is a close up of this layout.  I just love the splashes of golds and browns in the Legacy collection and have some fun plans to put the rest of it to good use.

Vellum-Tutorial Tuesday-Ruby Rock-It

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share some helpful tips when using vellum.  I love vellum and could use it all the time and in every project.  I especially love the Ruby Rock-It vellum, it is a little bit thicker and is just beautiful to work with.

For my first card I embossed the vellum with some Wow Embossing powder.  I love the results, and how beautiful the stamped image came out.  I attached the vellum by sewing it on down the side to give it a fun feathery feel.
Here is a close up of the embossing.

For my second card I used the vellum over top a piece of patterned paper to mute some of the colors.  Making this card very soft and feminine.  I attached the vellum using some gold glitter photo corners for just a little bit of pop.

For my last card I dry embossed it with an embossing folder and ran it through my machine. Look at all the wonderful texture.  I attached it with some glue in the center and covered it up with the flower and a fussy cut doily.
Here is a close up of the texture.

I hope I have inspired you to use vellum in your next project.  I promise it is not a scary as it seems.

W-on Wednesday-Wow Factor Layout-Ruby Rock-It

Hi this is Jenifer here with you to share another reason why I scrap :)  I scrap so that I can look back and see my little ones again. I mean look at those chubby little cheeks :)

For my layout I combined a few different lines, like the piece of vellum under the picture.  The Stars, corner flags and star coins are from the Military Die Cut collection, the Wow Factor card is from the Essence East Coast Line and a Fundamental Kraft tag.  I like to hide my journaling so I wrote some notes down on the tag and tucked it in behind the picture.
For the background circles I used my fiskars circle templates and a Wow pen and embossed it with some Copper Metallic embossing powder.  Then I randomly placed my stars and snaps until I was happy with the placement.
Thank you so much for taking a look at my project today, make sure you stop by again soon :)
