Circles Quilt by Jenifer Cowles
Hi Jenifer here with you today to share a easy quilt that you can make in a weekend start to finish and would you believe that I used no pins at all putting this quilt together :) I don't know if this particular technique has been done before, I have never seen it but it was very helpful and saved me a ton of time with the Applique.
Therm O Web Supplies:
Cosmo Cricket-Salt Air fabric
Draw circles in multiple sizes on your HeatNBond Feather lite and roughly cut out a circle of fabric. Using a 1/4" seam allowance sew the fabric and interfacing right sides together (right side of fabric and the glue side of the interfacing)
Eliminate some of the bulk using pinking shears or scissors cutting close to your seam.
Cut a small slit in the Interfacing.
Using the small slit cut in the interfacing turn your circle right side out taking care not to tear the interfacing to much.
Using a chopstick or another small devise gently go around the edge of your circle.
Do this multiple time until the desired amount of circles are created.
Now that the circles are created with a nice finished edge you can now adhere them to your background fabric as desired.
Lay out your backing fabric on a flat surface spray with Therm O Web SprayNBond basting spray, layer with desired batting and another coat of SprayNBond basting spray and then finally with the quilt top. Quilt as desired.
