For my project I took a plain 9×6 spiral notebook and gave it a beautiful new cover in just a few spare moments.  On the bottom corner of my patterned paper I did a little silk ribbon embroidered rose with some french knot flowers clustered on the sides.

The May Arts leaf ribbon is perfect to wind around and through some of the flower clusters.  Using the May Arts bakers twine I quickly embroidered “Notes” along the bottom, and woven through a doily towards the top to tie everything together.  After all the fun details were applied I adhered it to the notebook along with a cute polka-dot ribbon along the spiral to tie it all together.  It immediately went from bleh to WOW, in no time at all.
