I have a new post up over at the Therm O Web Blog today. Go check it out and make sure you come back here next week when I reveal the entire banner and the rest of the party;)
I have been meaning to do a Happy Birthday Banner for awhile now and I tend to forget about it until a few days before the actual Birthday, when I have completely run out of time. Well let me just say that with Therm O Webs new Fusible Spray you can do it minutes before you need it.
I made these flags a few years ago to match some quilts that I had made for my boys, we have since move on to another theme and color pallet but I couldn't get rid of the flags that I had already made. You could make your own by simply sewing 2 triangles together and attaching them all with a long piece of ribbon or you could use a purchased banner/flag.
Step one is picking out a font and cutting out backwards on the wrong side of the fabric, that way the letters a correct when you turn them over. I used a scrap piece of corduroy.
I then cut the letters out and sprayed them with the Fusible spray. Spray on a good layer and it will turn a bit white.
Let that dry and then Iron on your letters to your banner and you are done.
I have been messing with the letters and they seriously don't budge. I am so impress that I can't wait to find more project to make with this wonderful spray.

Baby Quilt-TOW
I thought that I would share this super cute baby quilt that I made over at the Therm O Web Blog. Go check it out.
I thought that I would share this super cute and easy baby quilt that I made in 1 day. I knew that I wanted to use this pattern from the Moda Bakeshop website, if you have never been there you need to go, tons of great ideas and patterns.
The only thing I changed from the pattern is that I used the new Basting Spray by Therm O Web. I sprayed it outside on a piece of waxed paper to the back of my leaf shapes. This spray gives it just enough adhesive to stick but magically not gunk up your needles. YEAH HOO!!
After I sprayed it on my shapes I then added them to my background and they stuck even after sticking them and removing them several times to get the desired look that I wanted.
After I had the desired placement I took my quilt to the machine and blanket stitched them on with no build up on my needle. I then made my quilt, following the directions and everything turned out perfectly. I also washed my quilt before I gave it to the new mother and there was no residue from the spray and everything washed out beautifully.
This was a great pattern and I made it start to finish on a Saturday, with the help of the Basting spray it cut down on my time immensely. This new Basting Spray is now at Joanns, I know that this will definitely be a staple in my quilting supplies.
Here is a close up.

Thank yo so much for taking a look at my project today, make sure you come back tomorrow for more inspiration.

Grow Canvas-Wow project
Here is a resent project that I created over at the Wow Blog, Hop on over there and check them out, the inspiration is endless.
I thought that I would share a cool technique with you today, I am sure that most of you know about it and have used it before but I thought I would share it again. This is a small canvas (4x4) I used the "Call Me" stamp set. I used the Clear Gloss Superfine, I painted the entire canvas blue then wiped off the extra with a paper towel. Where there was the Clear embossing powder the paint came off leaving me with the white of the canvas exposed.
I then decorated it with little bits and bobs coming up with a grow theme. For the sun I use the Sierra Sunrise Embossing Glitter, and boy does it sparkle.
Here is a close up of the Sierra Sunrise Embossing Glitter, see how beautiful it is. I think it is one of my new favorites, along with all of the other wonderful colors.
Other Supplies used: May Arts Bakers Twine, My Little Shoebox Cardstock stickers and remnants of a doily.
