Baby Bib-TOW

Did you see my super cute baby bib over on the Therm O Web Blog this week?  Go check it out along with a bunch of baby ideas...:)
Baby Bib by Jenifer Cowles
Therm O Web Supplies:
Other Supplies:
Velcro
Scraps of fabric (The Vegetable fabric is a piece from Pat Sloan’s new line “Eat Your Fruits and Veggies” and isn’t it perfect for these bibs?)
I thought I would show you how easy it would be to make your own bibs using Heat-N-Bond Iron-on vinyl. These are really easy using scraps of fabric some Iron-On vinyl and a piece of velcro, they are so easy you could make a bunch for yourself or they would be a wonderful gift at a baby shower.
Step 1:  Gather supplies.  I drew out a pattern by tracing an old bib we had lying around.
Step 2:  Cut out 1 each of main fabric, backing fabric and Iron-on vinyl.
Step 3:  Iron-on the vinyl according to the directions on the package to the main fabric piece.
Step 4: With right sides together sew the main and backing pieces together leaving a 3″ opening to turn it right side out.
Step 5: Turn right side out and top stitch 1/4″ around the edge.
Step 6: Sew on your velcro.
Now admire your work and make a dozen more.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my project today.  Make sure you stop by again tomorrow for more ideas for that special little one in your life!
